Tomato Achar is a Nepali tomato chutney that's nice and spicy and goes well with momo. Here's how I make it.

  1. Start by adding one cup of water to a saucepan over medium heat. Add the dried chillies and simmer for 5-6 minutes or until they start to soften.
  2. Once the chillies are soft, add all the other ingredients to the pan. Cook over medium to low heat for 20-25 minutes, or until the tomatoes are soft and thoroughly cooked.
  3. Blend the mixture until smooth. Your chutney is now ready to be enjoyed!
