  1. To make the chilli, start by placing a frying pan over medium-high heat and adding the oil. Once the oil is hot, add the onions with a pinch of salt and sauté for 1 minute before adding the garlic. Continue to sauté for 1 more minute before adding the beef.
  2. Using the back of a wooden spoon, break the beef up, then season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Add the tomato puree and stir through.
  3. Add the chicken stock, mix well, and simmer on low heat for 1-3 hours.
  4. Once your chilli is ready, you can either boil or grill your hot dogs for 5 minutes. In the last minute, steam your buns.
  5. To assemble, place the hot dog in the steamed bun, followed by a generous amount of chilli on top. Optionally, you can also add some grated cheese or diced white onion. Enjoy!
